There is a solution to every problem

Thank you Dar from Ramblings About Why for use of this beautiful pic that she took!

For every problem I create there is a solution. I am not limited by my human-mind thinking, for I am connected with the entire Universal Wisdom and Knowledge. I come from the loving space of the heart and know that love opens all doors. There is an ever-ready Power that helps me meet and overcome every challenge and crisis in my life. I know that every problem has been healed somewhere in the world. Therefore, I know that this can happen for me. I wrap myself in a cocoon of love and know that all is well in my world.

The joy of living

It was then I learned that that gratitude is the best feeling I would ever have, the ultimate joy of living. It was better than sex, better than winning the lottery, better than watching your daughter graduate form college, better and deeper than any other feeling; it is perhaps the genesis of all other really good feelings in the human repertoire

-Lewis Smedes, after almost dying.

The above is an excerpt from the book "Attitudes of Gratitude" by M.J. Ryan.

I have experienced that level of gratitude; not after almost dying (I have not come close), but after my daughter who was born prematurely on Christmas Eve 18.5 years ago.

At 1lb 11 1/2 oz, they were not sure she would survive. 4 months later, when I was able to bring her home; I felt that type of gratitude. It was for God, His angels; worldly and other worldly, that gave me that feeling.

Today she is happy, healthy and beautiful.

My 2nd wave of gratitude was when my son was born full term with no complications.

Now, I try to feel grateful everyday for everything and every one around me. Like you all, I have my bad days, but I am eternally grateful to be alive.

Tesla has it right

"It's not whatcha got, it's a-what you give.
It ain't the life you choose, it's the life you live.
It's only what you give, only what you give, only what you give,
It's not whatcha got, a-but the life you live.
It's the life you live.
And it ain't what it's not, but a-what it is
Play it pretty for the world."

-Tesla "What You Give"

It is one of my favorite songs by this group and those lyrics play in my head every day.

Although this was written as a love ballad, this verse just explains life to me.

Do we just settle for what's happening in our lives if things aren't going the way we think they should, or do we embrace it and help it grow into something more?

Do we keep all of happiness and joy to ourselves? We could, but that is just so selfish. SO many people out there could use a kind smile, a helping hand, kind words or just the acknowledgment they exist.

We may have made choices in our lives to get to the point we are now, whether good our bad, they resulted in the choices we made. But it is what you do with what you've chosen that really matters. Do you choose to wallow in your own self pity, or do you buck it up and choose to be happy and work your way out of whatever you may not be happy with?

If you choose the former, the Universe gives it back to you. Keeps sending you back the negative vibes that you send out. If you choose the latter, amazingly, the same thing will happen. Positivity comes back to you. hmmmmmmmmmmmm "It's not what you got, it's what you give"

Tesla, they are great philosophers

I AM good enough

If there is any belief within me that says: I can't have or I'm not good enough, I think to myself: I am willing to let that belief go. I do not have to believe that anymore. I don't have to struggle. (Its not a struggle ;P ) It is not hard work. I am just changing a thought. I was born to enjoy life. I affirm that I am now willing to open to the abundance and prosperity that is available everywhere. I now claim this mentally for myself right here and right now. I deserve to be prosperous. I deserve my good. That which I have declared is already accomplished in consciousness and now becomes manifest in my experience. And so it is .

This one is a good one for me. If you read my main blog Soggy Doggy on a regular basis, you can see I have not posted since Sunday. This is because I have been in a funk. As with the rest of the world it is a tough financial time. I don't feel like blogging or going to others' blogs. I found this passage and thought how fitting it is to me. I thought it might help lift you all up as well.

I am changing my thought process now and will be back to myself in no time. I thank you all for any prayers, positive energy and thoughts you might be so kind as to send my way.

I am a natural winner

As I learn to love myself, I become powerful. My love for myself moves me from being a victim to being a winner. My love for myself attracts wonderful experiences. People who feel good about themselves are naturally attractive because they have an aura about them that is just wonderful. They are always winning at life. I am willing to learn to love myself now. I am a winner, too.
